Bridge

Bridge Bridge can find the right treatment program to help find a way forward for you or your loved one's needs.

The charity supports people in Bradford affected by substance use, homelessness, domestic violence, poor mental health, and people in contact with the criminal justice system. If you or someone you care for is dependent on alcohol or drugs and needs treatment, it is important to know that no single treatment approach is appropriate for all individuals.

Let us remember those we have lost to overdose. Accidental overdoses are increasing as stronger synthetic opioids and contaminated drugs become more common. But there is .

is a lifesaving medication that can reverse the effects of an opioid overdose and give someone a second chance.

Contact New Vision Bradford on 01274 296023 for free Naloxone training and help save a life.

As we approach let us remember those we have lost to overdose.

New synthetic drugs are stronger than he**in and as potent as fentanyl. Accidental overdoses are increasing. Let us also take hope in the knowledge that we can save lives with medication which reverses the effects of an opioid overdose, including non-opiate drugs that are contaminated.

Call New Vision Bradford to be trained to give Naloxone and save a life.

People can and do recover - but don't just take our word for it. Here's John.

"Bridge helped save my friend's son's life, at just 17years old."

Hoping to attract funds to support people going through extremely difficult times - John is sharing his family and friend's experiences of addiction whilst fundraising to complete the Bolly Skyline - a mountain bike route through the peaks.

Here he is practicing https://www.justgiving.com/page/j-matthews-4

Thank you to everyone from our Bridge Recovery Homes who shared their experiences and insights as part of this project with Dr Gemma Ashwell at the University of Leeds, supported by Chris Chinnock and staff form our Housing Team.

People experiencing homelessness, substance use and involvement with the criminal justice system often face significant barriers to healthcare.

By sharing their experiences each week, participants are helping future medics learn how to respond to health inequalities with compassion and stigma-free respect.

As Gem says, "Thank you everyone. Inclusion Health is not a specialist extra – it is part of everyday clinical practice."
