🌿 LAST-MINUTE RETREAT OPPORTUNITY IN THE SOUTHERN HIGHLANDS

We’re delighted to share The Mind at Ease, a meditation retreat guided by Venerable Aileen Barry, taking place 6–9 August at Bundanoon Guest House.

A last-minute cancellation means a single room has just become available, and there is also a twin-share scholarship place available.

Prefer not to stay onsite? Day attendance and online participation are also available.

The Mind at Ease explores how we work with our minds and emotions and how, through practice, we can uncover the calm and clarity already within us.

This moving documentary explores the early roots of Tibetan Buddhism in Australia through rare footage, personal stories, and the voices of those who helped carry these teachings into the modern world.

Following the screening, attendees are invited to stay for a live Q&A with director Małgorzata Ola Dobrowolska.

This Saturday at Lotus Hearts - Week commencing 2nd May 🌿

A gentle space to pause, reflect, and reconnect.

🧘‍♀️ Meditation | 9:30 – 10:30am
A guided session weaving together:
• Breath awareness
• Investigative meditation
• Mantra recitation

No experience needed — just come as you are.

💬 Discussion Group | 11:00am – 12:00pm
We’ll begin exploring Chamtrul Rinpoche’s recent talk on Karma & Reincarnation
— listening, reflecting, and gently unpacking key ideas together.

This will be an ongoing weekly discussion, allowing us to go deeper into:
• Concepts & terminology
• Practical understanding
• How these teachings relate to everyday life

Once we’ve completed this series, we’ll then move on to the complimentary booklet:
“Understanding Your Mind – Simple Reflections for a More Peaceful Life”
as our next foundation for discussion.
