Alec Hunter Academy

Alec Hunter Academy Alec Hunter Academy is a secondary school with academy status located in East Braintree, Essex, England.

At Alec Hunter Academy, we pride ourselves on the positive relationships we engender between our young people and the adults who work with them on a day-to-day basis. We believe that students learn best when they feel valued and when the expectations of them are high. We anticipate that our learners will attend school with a positive attitude to learning, that they will embrace challenge where the

y encounter it and will be enthusiastic, resourceful, adaptable and resilient. We hope that our young people will leave Alec Hunter with happy memories, having enjoyed a range of experiences that have prepared them for the next phase of their education and for their adult lives. I hope that this website gives you a snapshot of the life and work of the school and that you are able to access any information that you need. However, if you are a parent seeking admission, a job applicant or a member of our school community and you are not able to locate the details you require, please give our friendly office staff a call on 01376 321813 and we will be delighted to help.

We are recruiting for a School First Aid Officer. We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and resourceful First Aid Officer, with strong inter-personal skills, to provide first aid support to students and staff. Experience in a caring or medical role would be an advantage but is not mandatory and a valid first aid at work certificate would be desirable, however, if necessary, this may be gained via training.
