First Stop Centre “Helping the disadvantaged in our community” (Braintree district) This is just a few examples of ways in which we can help.

First Stop Centre is a one stop organisation for the disadvantaged in Braintree and it's surrounding areas. We offer many services including; Education, benefit's advice and advocacy, Food Bank vouchers, a place to socialise and homemade food at low prices. We do not have a 'one size fits all' philosophy - everyone is an individual and will receive whatever help we can give. If we can't help you we will refer you to somewhere that can. For a lot of our service users the centre is a safe place to socialise and to get a decent meal at a very low price! We manage to run on a tiny amount of funding yet we have many different people through our doors. There is no other place like us in the area.
