First Stop Centre

First Stop Centre “Helping the disadvantaged in our community” (Braintree district) This is just a few examples of ways in which we can help.

First Stop Centre is a one stop organisation for the disadvantaged in Braintree and it's surrounding areas. We offer many services including; Education, benefit's advice and advocacy, Food Bank vouchers, a place to socialise and homemade food at low prices. We do not have a 'one size fits all' philosophy - everyone is an individual and will receive whatever help we can give. If we can't help you w

e will refer you to somewhere that can. For a lot of our service users the centre is a safe place to socialise and to get a decent meal at a very low price! We manage to run on a tiny amount of funding yet we have many different people through our doors. There is no other place like us in the area.

We wanted to thank our supporters, we had a lovely donation via Tesco Whoosh of items that can support a family in need, and some donations into our bank account. These acts of kindness go a long way, so thank you!

If you want to support our work please look at our website where there is a donate button. With no core funding, we so value even the smallest of donations!
