We would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who made this year’s event such a success. It was a scorching bank holiday weekend, the Festival in the Gardens event welcomed record attendance with an atmosphere to match.
Despite the heatwave, the stall holders, food vendors, bar staff, inflatable stewards, children’s entertainers, face painters, volunteers, security and operational staff demonstrated outstanding dedication throughout the day.
Special thanks to the rotary and Eve Boatman’s Team for manning the entrance, as well as the volunteer stewards and litter pickers who bought the gardens back to normal in the high heat.
Their commitment ensured the event ran smoothly for attendees.
We would also like to recognise the exceptional standard of performance delivered by our musicians, vocalists, and dance companies. The calibre of talent showcased on stage was outstanding, and each act contributed significantly to the vibrant atmosphere of the festival.
To the bands, singers and dancers, James Beatty the compare, you were all next level. The local talent on the stage was seriously impressive. From soulful vocals to slick dance routines, every act brought energy, creativity and real stage presence.
The calibre of performance across the weekend was outstanding. Saturday’s amazing headliner delivered with the Amy Winehouse and Adele Tribute act, bringing powerful vocals and stage presence that had the crowd captivated from start to finish. Sunday built on that momentum with MC Luck and DJ Neat, whose high-energy sets closed the festival on an unforgettable high.
To the Braintree and Bocking community: thank you for your continued support and positive feedback. A substantial amount has been raised for the upkeep and development of Braintree and Bocking Public Gardens.
HUGE THANK YOU to the incredible organisers, Elliot Richardson and Rachel Woodcraft, who spend months of planning and coordinating the event, to make this possible. They work passionately to book acts, coordinate traders, manage logistics, and ensure there was something for everyone in the community to enjoy in the Gardens
This is what happens when a community comes together. We’re already counting down to next year and looking forward to seeing you all in 2027!!🙏🥰
