Brandon - Appeal after dangerous driving incident
Police are appealing for witnesses to a an incident of dangerous driving that took place in Brandon.

It happened on Saturday 8 October at just after 7pm in the evening where police received a report of a vehicle being driven in an anti-social manner on Wimbledon Avenue. A short while later officers received a further report of a van being driven at a group of people. The van also struck a number of stationary vehicles in the incident. No-one was seriously hurt.

A 30 year old male was arrested on suspicion of driving a motor vehicle dangerously, possession of an offensive weapon and attempting to cause grievous bodily harm with intent. He was taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre for questioning and was subsequently released under investigation, pending further enquiries

Officers believe there will have been numerous witnesses to the incidents and ask them to come forward. Additionally, anyone with any dashcam or CCTV footage of the incident should contact the police quoting investigation reference: 37/64791/22

Lakenheath – Farm irrigator stolen
Police are appealing for information after a mobile irrigation pump was stolen from a field on the outskirts of Lakenheath.

The incident took place near Sharper’s Cor, a track off Highbridge Gravel Drove, on Friday 3 or Saturday 4 June.

The field is accessible only by 4x4 or farm vehicles and the irrigation pump, which has a 1,000 litre tank attached, would had to have been towed away.

Anyone who has information, images or footage which could help the inquiry is asked to contact Suffolk Police, quoting crime reference number 37/34679/22.

Newmarket - horsebox stolen

Officers are appealing for information after a horsebox was stolen overnight in Newmarket.

The Fiat Picasso 3.5 tonne horse box in royal blue with a navy stripe down the side was displaying the registration FJ16DDO.

It was stolen from Green Road between 10pm Tuesday 26 April and 10.41am this morning, Wednesday 27 April.

Police are reminding residents to regularly review security measures following theft incidents in the town.

Police are appealing for information after entry was gained to two vehicles in Seymour Avenue. Loose change and tools were stolen. Entry was gained to the unlocked vehicles sometime between 9pm Monday 11 April and 6.30am Tuesday 12 April. Ref: 37/21705/22

On Edmund Road, entry was gained to two vehicles, of which one was unlocked. Items of clothing was stolen from one vehicle, and mobile phone equipment was stolen from the glove box of the other. The thefts occurred between 8pm Monday 11 April and 9am Tuesday 12 April. Ref: 37/21714/22 or 37/21836/22

On Tuesday 12 April at approximately 1.15am in the morning, a blue Giant mountain bike was stolen from a rear garden in Woodlands Rise.
