We always say that it’s not just a job for us, we are a big family, and last night only goes to prove this.

Last night saw us take part in our annual Footgolf ⚽️⛳️ competition at Brechin Golf Club. The weather may not have been kind for us however that didn’t “dampen” 😬🙈 the evening and there were a few good scores in the difficult wet conditions. ☔🌧️

It ended with the boss, Stephen Ferguson, coming out on top with a score of 3 under par 32. Here he is being presented with the shield and coveted red jacked by last year's champion FF John Brand.

It wasn’t all bad for John however with him scoring an amazing hole in 1 on the 8th hole. 🤩

Unfortunately the celebrations were cut short which meant there was no opportunity for a team photo as not long after the presentation we were called into duty 📟🚒

As you can hear Stephen's fellow firefighters we're thrilled that he came out on top ❤️🏆🚒

Following our post from last Saturday’s Edzell Village Improvement Society Gala, here is one of our favourite photos from the Gala! 🚒❤️

A massive well done to FF Brand and his son, who stole the show by entering the fancy dress competition with their brilliant homemade fire engine… and only went and came away with 1st place! 🏆🚒

We think you’ll agree they definitely looked the part! 👨‍🚒

Thanks again to everyone who came along to the gala, stopped by to say hello, and made it such a great day.

Today we attended Edzell Village Improvement Society Gala. It was great to have so many people come by and stop to speak to us or have a look around the 🚒

It was also another opportunity to spread the word of our ongoing recruitment for new crew members. We’ve had a great response to our recent posts and open evening with a few progressing to the entrance tests on the next few weeks however we still have a couple of spaces available for anyone who is still interested.

Please see the link in the comments for more information.
