Do you have a learning disability and want some support to achieve your health and wellbeing goals? Join us for our free My Health, My Action Plan event, hosted by the Sport for Confidence Primary Care team.

The event is for people aged 14+ with a learning disability whose GP is based in Brentwood, along with their families, carers and supporters.

Itโ€™s FREE and thereโ€™s no need to book. If you have a Health Action Plan, bring it along โ€” but donโ€™t worry if you don't have a copy, you're still very welcome! ๐Ÿ’™

Today is World Su***de Prevention Day ๐Ÿ’š

Tonight, Brentwood's Town Hall will be lit green, one of many landmarks across Essex lit up as part of the โ€˜Creating hope through lightโ€™ campaign.

This day is a is joint initiative between Mid and South Essex Integrated Care System and Thurrock and Brentwood Mind is part of their ***de campaign which aims to raise awareness of su***de prevention and reducing the stigma around talking about su***de. Whether itโ€™s checking in with a friend, sharing resources, or learning how to help, every action matters.

Brentwood Borough Council, Brentwood Jobcentre Plus and Brentwood Community & Voluntary Service are hosting the Brentwood Jobs, Skills & Volunteering Event 2026 for a day dedicated to jobs, skills and opportunity.

Whether you're looking for a new job, considering a career change, exploring training opportunities or interested in volunteering, you'll have the chance to connect directly with local organisations and discover what's available in your area.

There will also be a dedicated support zone for young people aged 16โ€“24 who are not currently in employment, education or training (NEET), offering tailored advice and guidance.
