Each weekend from now until April, you are invited to visit our exquisite Spring Bulb Spectacular at Warley Place, the former home of the famous Miss Ellen Willmott. No pre-booking is necessary, and no dogs are allowed, but we would love to share this exceptional place with you. It’s genuinely one of Brentwood’s best kept secrets…but don’t tell everyone!

Our photo is the first daffodil to peep through this year!

Carol Klein and her team from Gardeners World have filmed some scenes about ‘the botany of plants’ in the conservatory and the walled garden at Warley Place. We are told that these excerpts are going to be shown in several editions of the BBC2 programme, which is on Friday evenings. The first one was screened on 25 September.
Carol first came to Warley Place a few years ago, when BBC2 made a film about famous women gardeners. She enjoyed her visit to us then, and she felt that the ruins of Warley Place would be suitable for these new features, so asked if she could return.
