🎉Join us for our 10th Anniversary! 🎉

Save the date: Friday 26th June 2026

It has been almost 10 years since Brewood Library became community managed! This is an amazing milestone marking an outstanding achievement for the library, the dedicated volunteers, and the wonderful community.

Throughout that time, the library has been transformed:
- We've hosted countless events
- Held celebrations of all kinds
- And shared plenty of fun along the way!

We’d love for you to join us as we celebrate this special anniversary. After all… the next one won’t be for another 10 years!

- Alex 🙂

🌲 How much do you really know about trees? 🌲

Trees are such a key part of the environment, so much so, it becomes easy to forget the vital role each one plays as there's so many of them. You can help re-vitalise your love of nature by joining this Tree Tops event being held by Darren Allen (a Staffs Council Representative) on Wednesday 22nd April 2026 at 7 pm at the library. Refreshments (as always) will be available completely free, and the Arboricultural Association will also be giving out FREEBIES as well!

💦 Canal & River Trust Event VENUE & TIME CHANGE 💦

NEW VENUE: Brewood Jubilee Hall, 6 Bargate Street, ST19 9BB. Wednesday 25th March 2026, 7 pm - 9 pm.

Hi everyone, as many of you might have seen, the Canal & River Trust (CRT) sent out a poster with regards to hosting an intended drop-in session at Brewood Library to discuss the bridge situation (near the GP). A similar event was held at Bishops Wood Village Hall a few days ago, and a large audience of residents attended - turning it into more of a talk with Q&A afterwards. Wendi has discussed this with the CRT representative and both agreed the library will likely not be an appropriate venue for an anticipated very large crowd of residents. Thankfully, we've been able to sort out changing the venue over to Brewood Jubilee Hall, and at a later time (on the same date) so it's more convenient for people to attend. This is shown at the top of this message. I can confirm this has been finalised and approved.

We ask if you could please spread the word. I'll also make a similar announcement on the BJH page. Many thanks, Alex 🙂
