FLASH REPORT: Event #302 Severn Valley Country parkrun

This week, Saturday brought us more rain ! But this didn’t stop 83 parkrunners and 23 volunteers coming along to Severn Valley Country parkrun today.

Umbrellas were up for some, and others sheltered on the deck during Run Director Will Lloyd’s briefing. One fallen tree to be aware of, with a Marshall positioned close by, and slightly greasy trails around Ferryman’s. Otherwise perfect conditions.

RD Will also noted that the Severn Valley Country parkrun PB Bell was up and waiting to be rung. Who got a Personal Best today?

Edit: We’ve now filled the required positions, but there’s always room for more if you want to volunteer!

We’re a few volunteers short of a roster for tomorrow’s parkrun! 🌳

We’ve got vacancies for finish tokens, barcode scanning and we still need three or four more marshals.

Every role is loads of fun, super easy and we’ll look after you! Let us know below or by email if you can help. 🙌

FLASH REPORT: Event #301 Severn Valley Country parkrun

🎂 🐕 ☀️🎈🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️👟3️⃣0️⃣1️⃣👟🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🎈☀️🐕🎂

Run Director Paul Robinson welcomed 141 parkrunners / parkwalkers and 22 volunteers to Severn Valley Country parkrun today in lovely conditions.

Again, good to see tourists visiting from across the country today. We hope you all enjoyed parkrun, and your time at Severn Valley.

Every week our parkrun relies on around 20 to
25 amazing volunteers to make it happen. From set up to pack away and everything in between. Volunteering is fun, rewarding and all roles have simple on the job training.

FLASH REPORT: Event #300 Severn Valley Country parkrun

🎂 🎈🏃‍♂️🥳🎉🏃‍♀️👟3️⃣0️⃣0️⃣👟🏃‍♀️🎉🥳🏃‍♂️🎈🎂

Run Director Robin Fearn welcomed 134 parkrunners / parkwalkers and 21 volunteers today to our 300th event at Severn Valley Country parkrun.

Conditions were certainly perfect, which reflected in numerous PB’s and a whole lot of smiling faces. It was great to welcome a large bunch of tourists including Louliko Gregoire Ueno visiting from Paris, to take on her first ever parkrun !

We hope you all enjoyed parkrun and your time at Severn Valley today.

Run Director Lisa Yeomans welcomed 116 participants and 22 volunteers to Severn Valley Country parkrun today.

We hope you all enjoyed parkrun and your time at Severn Valley Country Park. Whether you are doing parkrun, parkwalk, barkrun or volunteering we look forward to seeing you again next week for our 300th event.

FLASH REPORT: Event #298 – Severn Valley Country parkrun

Run Director Lisa Yeomans welcomed 135 participants and 26 volunteers to Severn Valley Country parkrun today.

It was great to see such a strong turnout yet again. This included a number of tourists from around the country, making up a total of 47 first timers, and 3 complete first timers to parkrun.

We hope you all enjoyed parkrun and the wonderful environment that Severn Valley Country Park has to offer. So many people staying afterwards in and around the cafe / deck area makes the vibe so good.

If you haven’t been to SVCP before, why not make it your next destination and come join us.

It’s only 24 hours to go until our next parkrun 🤞but we are still short of volunteers .
Specifically, we need
5 Marshals
1 Person to hand out the finish tokens.

We are grateful to all those that have already volunteered but would welcome more.
Did you know that approximately 85% of our volunteers are regular volunteers?
This demonstrates that volunteers find it rewarding and a great experience.
