Rhyme-time with Stay & Play is returning this week!
Join us for our FREE weekly Rhyme-time & Stay-and-Play sessions for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers! The drop-in sessions are on Thursdays from 11:00am to 12:00pm. Enjoy staff-led rhymes and songs and, if you like, stay to chat with other parents and carers while children enjoy playing with a selection of toys.
NB: Termtimes only and staffing-permitted.
Children remain the responsibility of their parent/carer throughout.

Each year, The Booker Prize is awarded to what is, in the opinion of several judges, the best sustained work of fiction written in English and published in the UK and Ireland.
The Booker Prize 2026 longlist has been announced and the shortlist of six books will be announced on Tuesday, 22 September 2026 while the winning book will be announced on Monday, 9 November 2026 at a ceremony at Old Billingsgate in London.
All of the books in the long list are available to request in your local Somerset Library and some are even fast-tracks which can be taken out without reserving!
The thirteen books in the Long List are:
