The Parish Council will be holding a full council meeting on Monday August 24th, including discussion about 2 planning applications including the latest application from Martin Grant Land. Update from Somerset Council:

The court file has been submitted to our legal services. We are now awaiting a hearing date.

Unfortunately, at around 9:30 last night a further six caravans and associated vehicles entered Meadow Park.

I am just arranging attendance with the police to collect those welfare forms and add a further supplementary statement to the court bundle.

The Parish Council also recommend that you report any incidents to the police, including any footage from cctv etc

If you have a field please ensure you do all you can to stop them gaining entry.

Update on the traveller issue provided by Bridgwater Town Council
Somerset Council's Enforcement Team met at Whitegates yesterday with the Police and delivered the necessary paperwork to the travellers.



If they remain on site, the team will need to progress the court paperwork. A court hearing could potentially take place later this week, although next week is considered more likely.



BTC's Operations Team are ready to respond to the clean-up operation, including carrying out the necessary repairs to secure the site

The Parish Council is fully aware that the traffic Lights are not working at the junction of Wembdon Rise/NDR. It has been reported and we are awaiting a repair.
Please be careful and drive safely.
