Congratulations to Harry Ballesteros from Wakefield Metropolitan District Council on successfully completing his Level 3 Leisure Duty Manager apprenticeship, achieving a DISTINCTION.

A special mention to his Tutor Assessor, Jody Barford, for their continued support throughout the programme.

East Yorkshire Apprenticeship Awards 2026.

It was a fantastic evening celebrating the achievements of apprentices and recognising the support provided by employers, training providers, colleges and mentors across the East Riding of Yorkshire.

A huge congratulations to all of the nominees and winners who continue to demonstrate the value and impact of apprenticeships.

We're especially proud of our own apprentice, Saul Matchett, on his well-deserved recognition. A brilliant achievement and one that reflects the hard work, commitment and dedication he brings every day.

Events like these highlight the important role apprenticeships play in developing talent, creating career opportunities and helping businesses grow through investment in people.
