Bridlington West has been chosen by the Government to receive £19.6 million over 10 years and local people can help influence how the funding is spent. This is dedicated to strengthening local neighbourhoods, including West Hill, New Pasture Lane, Havenfield and the Old Town.

Community Vision are inviting Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) organisations across the East Riding to apply for a free Android tablet, thanks to a generous donation from Quickline.

The tablets are being made available to help organisations support digital inclusion within their communities.

Are you caring for someone affected by dementia? Sometimes it’s good to simply sit down with a cuppa, have a chat and know there’s someone there to listen.
Beechwood Care Centre holds Carers Together group meets on the last Thursday of every month, 10.30am–11.30am.
Linda from Alzheimer’s Society will be on hand for an informal chat, advice and support.
There’s no need to book – just drop in, pull up a chair and join in.
Whether you’re looking for advice, friendship, support or simply a friendly face and a cup of tea, you’ll receive a warm welcome.

FREE EVENT THIS BANK HOLIDAY WEEKEND
Come and join us at Beechwood Care Centre for our Summer Garden Celebration this Saturday 29th August, 1pm–4pm.
Featuring the Bridlington Gold Radio Roadshow with live music throughout the afternoon we will have local craft stalls, tombola, raffle, residents' Table Top Sale and refreshments.
Lots of fun and a fantastic community atmosphere!
Entry is completely FREE and EVERYONE is welcome – residents, families, friends and our wonderful local community.
If we get some typical Bank Holiday weather… don’t worry – we’ll simply take the party inside!

Freedom Festival is touring and it’s coming to Bridlington!
Hull’s world-famous Freedom Festival is hitting the road this summer with its Freedom On Tour programme, bringing breath taking performances of circus, theatre, music and dance to East Yorkshire. Some of the acts include Acrobot (as featured below) Spinsane, Lilliput, The World Wanderer and Beyond.
It will be held on Friday 4th September 2026 11am to 5pm, Bridlington Spa and it's all free to watch.
