Run by Bridport & West Dorset Sports Trust Ltd as a strictly non-profit making organisation (Registered Charity No. 267781) Bridport Leisure Centre aims to offer a wide range of recreational facilities and activities to the people of West Dorset with a view to improving their quality of life.

We’re excited to welcome back our children’s sessions that took their usual summer break!

🤸 Gymnastics

Bridport Swim School and all other children’s activities continued throughout the holidays and remain available as normal.

✨ 7-Week Pre-School Gymnastics Course.

Starting on 11th September 2026, a 7-week gymnastics course for ages 3 to 4 years will take place each Friday from 11.15am to 12pm.

Fun, active, confidence-boosting sessions your little one will love! 😍

This is a fun packed course that provides a progressive journey through recreational gymnastics. 🤸

Gymnasts will help to improve balance, coordination, confidence, and creativity, plus they will increase their social skills along the way.

Bonus: FREE weekend and school holiday swimming and FREE Gym Tots until age 5.

£13.50–£16.50 per hour
Teach swimming across all ages & abilities, including schools & SEN. Flexible hours.

💥 What a day at The Melplash Show! 💪

A few highlights from an amazing day at Stand 89! 🎉

From kids taking on the obstacle course, to spinning the wheel for prizes and putting their grip strength to the ultimate test with our Deadhang Challenge, there was plenty going on! 🔥

A huge thank you to everyone who came along, had a go, donated and supported us. ❤️

We loved meeting so many of you, chatting about all things Bridport Leisure Centre and raising money for a great cause along the way.

And, of course, a massive well done to everyone brave enough to take on the Deadhang! 👏

We raised an amazing £1,300! A huge thank you to the stall holders, every participant, and all the staff who helped make the day such a success.
