Today we received a donation of £240 that was raised by the sale of Christmas cards - thank you to everyone who bought one and to Dianne Hopkinson for organising it!!

The scaffold is down, the architect is happy and so we can finally say that Phase One is complete!!!

The next step is to assess what needs to be done in Phase Two and how much that will cost.

But for now, thank you to everyone who has supported this project so far - we hope to be able to celebrate it properly when we are allowed to gather in greater numbers!!

Here's the latest images of the stones that have been adopted so far. As you can see there's only one stone left on the Tower Door and only two left on the South Door!!! However there are plenty of stones left to suit all budgets!!

If you'd like a stone, you can call into church on a Thursday morning, or a Sunday morning, or you can donate via our JustGiving page and leave a message saying which stone you'd like.

Work is finally starting on the tower! The scaffolding is being adjusted to incorporate a crash deck for when the roof comes off, and then if will be covered so that work can continue in bad weather. The actual repair work should be started in the next couple of weeks and, if all goes smoothly, will be finished by the end of March. However, if we get more money we can do more work, and the JustGiving page is still up for donations!!!!!!
