On Saturday we attended a counter demonstration where we saw a mass mobilisation of people in Brighton successfully prevent a group of racists from marching. When one of the racists however did a n**i salute in front of a line of police officers not one officer moved to arrest him. However when one of our comrades chanted victory to the intifada (an Arabic word for uprising) in a principled recognition of the Palestinians right to self determination, and another one of our comrades defended the right to have a placard out with a triangle on it, both were arrested for a racially aggravated public order offence.
The bias of the British police is clear, they do not care about racism, they care about politically policing us and protecting British imperial interests. The police are complicit in the deaths of hundreds of people of colour, criminalised their struggle against oppression such as the Brixton or Broadwater farm uprising, and they’ve imprisoned thousands more under the racist court systems which greatly disadvantage them.

Yesterday we held a stall at the train station, we spoke to the public about the recent attacks on Cuba and about how we stand unconditionally with the Cuban revolution and people! We flew the Palestine flag and Venezuelan flag, countries Cuba has previously supported as part of the international solidarity!

We deny the baseless accusations made by the US government and support the Cuban government against increasing imperialist attacks!
Viva Cuba socialista!

On Saturday the 9th of May one of our comrades was arrested at our regular Saturday stall at the clocktower opposing the Zionists who rally there every other week. They were arrested under section 4 of the public order act due to a placard that was reported to the police by Zionists. This is another example of the police acting like Zionist attack dogs and arresting people arbitrarily to appease the angry mob of Zionists who fly the flag of the genocidal IDF and harass pro Palestinian protesters endlessly. This is the second time a comrade has been arrested in Brighton for pro-Palestinian solidarity in 2026.
Shame on Sussex police! We stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people and the Palestinian resistance! Our support will not waiver!

Yesterday we held a stall at the train station. We were calling out the Labour party’s complicity in genocide and selling our new pamphlet on fighting state racism, at the forefront of which is the Labour party’s mass deportation campaign. The Green Party have shown themselves to be no better than Labour or the conservatives and have shown that if needed they will hurt the working classes they supposedly are the voice for! They have shown themselves to take part in Zionist propaganda and fear mongering by attacking pro Palestinian members of their party and delayed the vote on whether Zionism is racism. They have a history of cuts in Brighton and currently Bristol despite being a supposed anti-cuts party.
Don’t vote organise!
