Whoopsadaisy is a small Brighton based charity in Preston Park for young children with cerebral palsy and other physical disabilities.

We’re a friendly charity based in beautiful Preston Park, supporting children with disabilities and their families from Brighton & Hove and the surrounding areas. Our founder, Nina Holland, discovered the power of conductive education when her own son Christopher was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. She set up Whoopsadaisy to share this life-changing method with other children and their families. Si

Whoopsadaisy is a Brighton & Hove based charity providing Conductive Education and
Occupational Therapy for children with cerebral palsy and other physical disabilities.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Conductor to join our professional and friendly team.

We are looking for a full time and enthusiastic Conductor to join Whoopsadaisy.

The conductor will be working across all age groups.

Pay dependent upon experience.

Successful candidate will have:

• Good oral and written English skills are essential.

• Degree or equivalent in Conductive Education

• Experience of leading 1:1 and group sessions for children and young people with
physical disabilities.

• Experience of documenting session programmes, assessment reports, goal plans and
progress reports

Part 3 – Scissor skills ✂

At Whoopsadaisy, we focus on improving the precision and accuracy of cutting, as this is a skill often expected at school. 💪

Practising scissor skills is also great for improving two-handed coordination, using one hand to position the paper while the other hand makes snips. ✂

Cutting and sticking activities encourage creativity, whilst building skills, confidence and independence in an everyday school occupation. 🌼

Following the success of last year, we’re so excited to bring back our Inclusive Summer Holiday Club for another week of fun!

This year’s theme: Safari Adventures 🦁🌿

Open to children attending our 5-12s services and their siblings/cousins aged 4–11 years, with lots of opportunities for play, creativity and exploration.
