Bristol Black Carers

Bristol Black Carers We provide support and assistance for Caribbean, African and Asian carers in Bristol. not culturally suitable or had a bad experience in the system.

The Black Carers Project was set up in 1997 in the heart of the community to provide support and services to Black Carers of African/African Caribbean decent. It is a well-known fact that Black Carers do not access mainstream statutory or voluntary services for various reasons i.e. The charity changed its name from Black Carers Project to Bristol Black Carers in February 2010. We are working towa

rds building our community through support and empowerment of carers and their families to access and contribute to relevant main stream services .
