There is no "right" way to grieve. Everyone's experience is different, and emotions -including guilt - often change over time. Talking about feelings of guilt, or writing them down, can help put them into perspective.

Our pets fill our lives with so much love and joy, it's understandable we feel their loss so heavily.

As beloved companions and family members, when a pet dies it is incredibly painful and difficult. We know that this grief is real, as are all the emotions we feel from it, and shouldn't be dismissed or minimised.

Last year, Jess Bolton wrote a blog for us about grief and pet loss after both her dogs died. She writes about her experience of pet loss, as well as sharing some tips for things that helped with her grief.

In light of the recent news stories regarding funeral industry standards, we wanted to highlight our membership with The Federation of Burial and Cremation Authorities - FBCA - the Federation is the UK’s principal representative of burial and cremation authorities, providing a range of services to support its members' care.

Membership of the FBCA is entirely voluntary and not all crematorium operators choose to join. We take great pride in the consistently high standards we uphold across every aspect of our work, and that’s why we welcome the opportunity for our facilities and practices to be independently assessed by industry experts.

We also operate an Open Door Policy in which members of the public are able to tour our facilities to gain reassurance that their loved one will be cared for with the highest level of dignity and respect.

For any information regarding our facilities and practises, please contact the office, visit our website, or pop in to have a chat with us.
