Planned Partial Closure: Friday

As you may be aware, the UKHSA Red Heat Health Alert has been extended to include Friday. Therefore, we have taken the decision to close our nursery early on Friday 26th June. This decision has been taken in the interest of the health and wellbeing of all children, staff and visitors.

On Friday, Cashmore Early Years Centre will open at 9.00am and close at 12.00 noon (the gate will open at 11.50am). Children will not have lunch during this session. If your child normally attends nursery on Friday mornings, they can join us for this morning session. You can collect your child earlier to avoid travelling in the hotter midday weather, if you choose. Please make sure your child has a sunhat and sun cream.

Unfortunately, we are unable to safely stay open in the afternoon on Friday. We appreciate your continued understanding. We expect to reopen as normal on Monday 29th June.

Please follow the link below for more information.

It has been a fantastic final term at Cashmore Early Years Centre!

Our two-year-olds have been exploring water play in all its forms, developing fine motor skills, early maths and language through hands-on fun, while our three-year-olds had a brilliant trip to Windmill Hill City Farm, travelling by train and spending the day meeting animals and exploring together.

We are now looking forward to our annual Teddy Bears' Picnic on Wednesday 15th July, when all children and their families are warmly invited to join us to celebrate a wonderful year. The newsletter also includes important updates about session and meal prices from September, and helpful resources to support children starting school.
