This Saturday 8th, there will be a demo in Bristol against the far right, which is linking together the struggle against racism, with the struggle against war and for a Free Palestine. We wholly support this excellent step forward in the struggle to change society, and will be joining as a Communist bloc, explaining boldly and loudly that the only way to wipe out the scourge of racism, end war and free Palestine is to wipe out capitalism itself. It's the same billionaire crooks who fill the Epstein files who are slashing welfare to pay for warfare. They're the same people inciting racist violence across the world. And they're the people complicit in the genocide of the Palestinians.
You cannot have capitalism without racism, and you cannot have capitalism without imperialism. The fight against these is tied up with the class struggle for socialism.
That's why we'll be there, and it's why you need to join us in building a party that can fight against the whole rotten establishment and provide a real class struggle alternative to the racism of the right wing!

Yesterday we kicked off our week with a bang, hosting a full day of discussion on imperialism, class struggle and perspectives on world revolution at the PRSC! This is only the beginning and we will be continuing the discussion throughout the week with two watch parties and discussions happening everyday this week!

The only way forward is through a prepared Marxist organisation who have trained in these ideas and can push forward the struggle calling for real change from this senile capitalist system! Now is the time to join us in our fight for a better future.

WORLD SCHOOL OF COMMUNISM
Watch Party - Bristol, People's Republic of Stokes Croft, Sunday 2nd August starting 8am!

Amidst all the crisis of capitalism, it is clear to millions of people worldwide that we need a revolution. Everything seems to be falling apart, it feels like the end of the world. To not get lost in pessimism and demoralisation we need political education, and a revolutionary communist party to train up hundreds and thousands of revolutionaries all across the world for the struggles to come. We need to study the history of revolutions and Marxist theory - to understand the world in order to change it!

This weekend, we're kicking off our with a full day of discussion on Class struggle, imperialism and perspectives for the world revolution. We'll be about literally all day, with the event running from 8am - 9pm, so make sure you don't miss it! And this is just the beginning, we'll be having evening watch parties through the week, so DM if you're interested!!

‼️This Saturday, 13th June, we'll be hosting the RCP Bristol Day School on philosophy, starting at 10.30 am at The Louisiana!‼️

In the advanced session we'll be discussing Hegel, the highest peak of all classical philosophy.

Classical philosophy attempts to draw universal and eternal laws that can describe the world. But all philosophers before Hegel (and most after) find themselves trapped in irreconcilable contradictions.

Postmodernists today get so tangled up that they even deny the possibility of understanding anything at all.

But Hegel studied the progression of philosophy, science, and culture in all its manifoldness, how we can know things and we continue to know more.

He found that to grasp anything in the world, you must meticulously break it into its many contradictory parts, understand each of them in their relations and their process, and find their unity, their totality, their essence.

It is this radical method of Hegel that Marx uses to engross himself into a study of class society and capital; starting from our conditions, not our ideas.

As soon as the dialectical method is placed on this physical, tangible, material basis, the only conclusion is that to move humanity forward, it is not enough to just describe the world, but we must strive to change it! 🚩

This weekend, 36 comrades from Bristol and Bath took to the streets despite torrential rain to spread the call for revolution, and the demand to wipe out the Epstein Class!

We decided to have a ‘red mile’ from one side of the Bristol City Centre to the other. We began by discussing the Epstein Class centre page article and a briefing on Ehsan Ali, our imprisoned comrade in Pakistan, and called for his release!

The day was dominated by torrential rain, however our political preparation proved that comrades were inspired to stay out all day selling papers and having conversations. We reminded each other of our bolshevik attitude that we smash through any obstacles we are given and that our comrades in Pakistan are being tortured, harrassed and imprisoned meanwhile we are just a little wet!

One comrade spoke to a student who was in Nepal at the time of the revolution. They discussed the lessons to be learnt from the revolution and this student independently came to the conclusion that the movement lacked revolutionary leadership to carry it to its conclusion.

Another comrade was so excited that they realised when answering questions from the public they were no longer hesitating and that her conversations were going on for so much longer. She recognised all the work she had done in the past few months and could see the results of her dedication to theory in practice.

Two comrades chatted to a 16 year old who said they didn’t care about the rain and was desperate to listen to the ideas. We found that many people already had one of our newspapers in their hand.

Our enthusiasm inspired members of the public:
we aren’t just selling newspapers we’re selling ideas.
We sold over 50 papers and spoke with at least 70 - 100 people, and at least 15 expressed interest in joining the party.

No matter the weather, we know there are young revolutionary workers and students out there who want to change the world. And we're going to find them!

‼️Our comrades are being killed‼️

The Pakistani state is arresting our comrades in the Awami Action Committee (AAC) and the Inqalabi Communist Party on trumped up charges of terrorism for planning a peaceful protest against the plunder of Gilgit Baltistan by capitalist forces.

For this sin against the agents of capital, our comrades have been arrested and left for dead, including the old and sick leader, Ehsan Ali.

The Pakistani state has only upped its repressive measures. *Martyring* a comrade and sending paramilitary forces to put down the resulting protests.

The protests and strikes in the region are strong and are exposing the weakness of their ruling class. And they need the solidarity of the international working class!

🚩All eyes of Gilgit Baltistan! We will not let them disappear our comrades! Write a letter to your MP, pass a motion in your union, join our protests outside an embassy.🚩

DAY SCHOOL - SATURDAY 13TH JUNE
The world is rapidly changing. All the old truths are being proven false in real time. Capitalism is in a deep crisis, the state is in tatters and society is filled with anger and malaise. A spectre is haunting the world, the spectre of communism.

Revolutions are on the agenda, not just revolutions against governments, but also revolutions in consciousness, thought, science and society as a whole.
To understand a turbulent, changing world, where nothing is permanent, we need a philosophy. It isn't enough to accept the old ways, the old ideas and hypocritical morality of the capitalist class. A revolutionary must have a revolutionary philosophy - that is, a revolutionary way to understand the world. And there is no better philosophy for the task than Dialectical Materialism.
That is what we'll be discussing this Saturday, starting 10.30am at the Louisiana on Wapping Rd BS1 6UA.
We'll have three talks:
An introduction to dialectical materialism, for those new to Marxism and keen to find out more
At the same time, we'll have a session on In defence of Hegel - getting to the roots of Marxist philosophy by studying one of the greatest philosophers of history, who inspired Marx and Engels
And we'll finish with Reason in Revolt - based on the book by Ted Grant and Alan Woods, which applies dialectical materialism to a better understanding of modern science, showing the need not just for a revolution in economics, but in mind also.

The event is free for all to come along, and we welcome all revolutionaries keen to study the way forward, not just to interpret the world, but to change it!
