We've had a fantastic response since we launched our Diesel Railcar/DMU appeal to help purchase and transport this 1960-built Class 117 to the Avon Valley Railway. However, we still need your support to help fund this. Every penny is appreciated; visit avrht.org/dmu to donate.

During the 1980s this class 117 was based locally at Bristol (Bath Road) depot! This means it worked various local lines around Bristol and Bath! With your support, this really means we're working towards bringing home a local railcar!
