We share the news of Jeff Clark's passing with great sadness.
He passed away quite suddenly after a short battle with cancer. He was a much-loved resident here at The Junction Project and will be missed by staff and clients alike.

Many thanks to the power of Facebook we have now located Jeff's family and informed them of his passing.

We would respectfully ask that this post is no longer shared and previous shared posts with his families details on are deleted in order to allow his family the space to grieve.

Rest easy Jeff

Hello friends and supporters of BDP’s Creative Communities,

It’s all a bit cold and wet outside still, but we have four Spring performances coming up to bring you some sunshine and light!

We also have a free TASTER SESSION, for new people to come and see what we’re all about, make some music or simply to plant a seed for your own creativity to be worked on in the future. No experience needed. The Taster Session is at Malcolm X Centre on Thursday 4th April from 10am – 12pm. No need to book – just come along.

We have a weekly choir, orchestra, beginners music group, theatre group and lyric writing group.

All our groups are free, and open to anyone with lived experience of using drugs, their families, and people who work or volunteer in similar services.

We’d love to see our supporters in the audience, but also people who haven’t seen us before – you’re all welcome! Flyers attached and below. Also please help us spread the word to people you know, friends, family, colleagues, neighbourhood what’s app groups…

Give Sophie a call at BDP to find out more – or just come along to one of our shows or the taster session.

Sophie

FareShare

Free Heinz Meal at Morrisons

Good morning,

FareShare partner Heinz has partnered with Morrisons to offer a free jacket potato and beans meal.

Anyone visiting a Morrisons Café can get a free jacket potato and beans meal - normally costing £4.98 for jacket potato, side salad and Heinz beans - until Sunday 7 May. All they have to do is 'Ask for Henry' at the checkout to receive the meal.

The aim of this partnership is to provide hot meals to people who may otherwise struggle to afford it. The offer is available in all 397 Morrisons cafés and is on every day while cafés are serving hot food (times may vary from each location).

Please do feel free to share the below information with the people you support.

Be kind to yourselves

We love this. Healing from trauma can take time. Sometimes it might feel like nothing is working. Offer yourself compassion at times like these and remind yourself of the small wins.
