📯 Introduction 📯

I've had a few new followers recently so I thought it might be an idea to introduce myself again.

I'm Anna, the face behind Carry on Slinging for almost 11 years. I'm a neurodivergent (AuDHD) solo parent to a teenage son (he's too big to carry now, so this photo is an oldie!). He's the reason that I got into babywearing. He was a baby that hated lying on his back thanks to silent reflux so the sling or carrier was where he took his naps. Although we were both unaware of our neurodivergence back then, carrying him felt instinctive and when I carried him, we were both much calmer and I myself was much less anxious.

I trained with Slingababy back in 2015 and set up Carry on Slinging shortly afterwards. I have done further Slingababy training on feeding in slings and carriers, as well as Baby and Toddler Calm courses with CalmFamily. Over the years, I have run Sling Library meets under the Bristol Sling Library and The Bristol Sling Ladies banners, but now largely see people on a one to one basis through Sling Clinics or private consultations at my home or my clients'.

💛 I offer hires from a library of over 400 slings and carriers both in person or by post so that you can test drive some options before buying, or just hire for a trip or holiday.

💚 I troubleshoot the fit of hired slings to ensure that you get the most out of your hire.

🩵 I provide links to videos and articles that are relevant to the carrier or sling that you've hired as well as topics that have come up during the consultation.

💙 I retail many brands offering discounts to clients who have hired from me already. These include Lenny Lamb, Little Frog, Kahubaby, Ergobaby, MiniMonkey and Didymos.

💜 I provide access to discount codes for many brands of carriers and accessories.

Anna will be at Zion in Bishopsworth on Thursday morning from 10:15 till 11:45.

This Sling Clinic is run on a drop in basis and is often quiet, so come along and try ALL the slings!

If there's a particular carrier/sling that you want to try/hire, get in touch beforehand to avoid disappointment.

The next Sling Clinic at will be a week earlier than planned on Tuesday 25th March from 9.15am to 10.30am.

Come along with your own sling or carrier for help with fitting it, or come for advice and try some from my extensive library. £5 per 15 minutes/sling for advice/fitting and hire from £10-£18 for four weeks.

To avoid disappointment, please DM to let me know you're coming if there's a particular sling or carrier that you'd like to try.
