Bristol city Council wants to redevelop this area as it’s an eyesore and has been unused for 20 years. The council's Cabinet, met on 3 March 2011, and agreed that if efforts to purchase the property through negotiated agreement with the owners failed, it would seek a compulsory purchase order (CPO) and a partner to re-develop the site with.
