I am a magnet for hagstones. 🖤

I find them everywhere, from beaches, riverbanks, woodland paths or driveways. I've been collecting them for years and now I decided it was time to start making something of them. These three pendants are the first of many to come.

Hagstones have been carried as talismans across Britain and Europe for centuries. A hole worn through naturally by water is said to be a window between worlds, you look through it and you might see what is otherwise hidden or invisible realms, piercing through illusions and deceptions.

They were used as protection hung above doorways, tied to bedposts to prevent nightmares, used by farmers to safeguard their livestock and by sailors to protect from rough seas.

The traditional lore suggests that the hagstone chooses you, not other way around.

I'll be bringing these hagstone pendants, and the rest of the amulets, to Glastonbury Market with The Tor Collective Markets this Saturday, at St John's Church.

After that, the next date is the beginning of October, so if you've been meaning to come and find me, now is the time.

I'll be bringing the ravens, the goddesses, the tiaras and plenty of amulets for everyday magic. Hagstone pendants, fern amulets and bracelets, all hand-knotted and ready to find their guardians.

Next stop — Margam Park. 🖤🌿

This Saturday, 22nd August, I'll be at the Spiritual & Wellbeing Fayre at Margam Park with Cariad Events Cymru .

Margam Park is a gorgeous setting for the fayre and visitors get free parking, so why not come along and make a day of it?

Come and find the ravens, the goddesses, the tiaras and some new designs in person.

New in the shop. 🖤🌿

Three pieces have just found their way to the website — and with them listed, the next chapter of work can begin.

The Blue Flame Goddess — for the goddess who lives in the light between worlds.

The Dryad's Crown — for the woman rooted in the forest.

The Storm Crown — for the woman who calls the storm rather than hides from it.

Two new tiaras for the Sacred Brow Collection and one new amulet for the Wildwood Collection.

And now knotting starts on a wedding commission. 🖤

We are arriving at the threshold of Lughnasadh / Lammas - the first harvest festival. 🌾

This summer has been a hot and dry one and harvest has come earlier than usual because of it. Which is right, as when it comes to living in tune with Nature, there is no fixed calendar. Our ancestors didn't stop to celebrate until the harvest was in. The wisest thing we can do is look out of the window and follow what Nature is actually doing, rather than what the calendar tells us we should be doing.

Even so, the shift is already here if you know how to feel for it. The light has changed, the days are shortening and something in the air has turned, even as the sun is still hot.

Lughnasadh is often overlooked due to summer holidays and then suddenly autumn arrives and we're scrambling to adjust. But this threshold deserves to be met consciously. It is the moment the wheel tips toward the harvest and we are invited to take stock, not just of what has grown in the ground, but of what has grown in us.

Here are the questions I am sitting with at this first harvest:

🌾 What has come to fruition this year, even if it looked different than I imagined?
🌾 What has the heat and intensity of this season burnt away?
🌾 What seeds within this harvest are worth carrying forward into autumn and winter?
🌾 What goes to the compost? What needs to rot down into rich ground so something new can grow?
🌾 What do I know now, at this first harvest, that I didn't know at the beginning of the year?

Gather with those you love, reflect on what has grown and celebrate what you are bringing in.

A cemetery. Obviously. 🖤

The day after Glastonbury, I'll be at the Folkcraft Witchcraft & Oddities Fayre at Arnos Vale Cemetery, Bristol. I mean, where else would the ravens want to be?! 😁

Come and find us among the stones. The ravens, the goddesses, the tiaras — all hand-knotted, all one of a kind, all waiting for the right guardian.

This one feels like home. 🌿🖤
