The My Homecare Bristol team had the absolute pleasure of attending the Bradley Stoke Town Council Afternoon Tea Party, where we were proud to support such a fantastic community event dedicated to celebrating and bringing together older members of the Bradley Stoke community. It was also fantastic to see our valued partners at Age UK South Gloucestershire there too!

It was a truly lovely afternoon filled with delicious tea, sandwiches and treats, plenty of smiles, laughter, and wonderful conversations. A big highlight of the afternoon was the raffle, which created lots of excitement and gave everyone something extra to look forward to. It was wonderful to see so many happy faces and such a positive atmosphere throughout the event.

A huge thank you to Bradley Stoke Town Council for organising such a well run and meaningful event. Their continued commitment to supporting the older generation within our community is something that deserves to be celebrated. Bringing people together, helping to reduce social isolation, and creating opportunities for friendships to flourish makes a real difference, and it was an honour for us to be part of it.

We thoroughly enjoyed meeting so many local residents, hearing their stories, and spending time getting to know members of our community. As a local care provider, opportunities like these are incredibly important to us, allowing us to connect with the people we support and the wider community. Events like this are a wonderful reminder of the importance of staying connected, building friendships, and ensuring people are valued and included.

My Homecare Bristol is proud to sponsor Bradley Stoke Town Council's Afternoon Tea Party on Friday 10th July. This gathering is a lovely way to celebrate the older residents who make our area so rich in history, kindness, and character.

As a local care provider, our roots are firmly in the community, and we’re committed to giving back and supporting events that bring people together in meaningful ways. An afternoon of tea, conversation, and companionship is exactly the kind of community spirit we love to champion.

We look forward to being part of an enjoyable afternoon, we'll see you there!

Getting out of the house can make such a difference, whether it’s a trip to the shops, a walk in the fresh air, a medical appointment, or simply being part of the community. But for some people, getting out and about isn’t always easy without a bit of support.

At Homecare Bristol, we help people stay connected to the world around them. Our carers can accompany individuals to appointments, support them with errands, or simply enjoy time outside together. These moments bring confidence, independence, and a sense of normality that many people really value.

Being able to get out safely and comfortably shouldn’t only be a luxury, and we’re here to make sure it's something that is still enjoyed.
