🌱🐝 We were thrilled to introduce King Charles and Queen Camilla to our new Marble Run during their visit to Eden Project today.

The King and Queen were given specially crafted wooden balls made from trees felled by Storm Goretti in January across Cornwall.

Having launched the balls His Majesty joked: "That's one way of losing your marbles!"

🐝Our Marble Run will be open for the Easter Holidays and features over 100 meters of interactive track spread across eight unique runs.

🌱✨Playground Transformation ✨🌱

What was once a stretch of hot, hard tarmac has been completely reimagined into a vibrant, shady play space 🌍💚 for Hartcliffe Nursery School.

By covering some of the tarmac with a large sand pit, adding Poles with Holes and a sail shade we have created a softer, sensory-rich area. The Bamboo and raised planters boost biodiversity and will bring nature right into the heart of the playground 🐝🌸

We know where the Weather Station’s dials would be in our playground today!🌧️🌬️

The 4m tall structure was designed to resemble a handmade explorer’s hideout, where they can monitor the weather and surrounding environment.

It’s accessed by a walkway, to ensure everyone can reach the highest point in the playground, for truly inclusive play. Along with the interactive weather-themed features, carvings and speaking tubes provide sensory play and a wide slide creates a fun route down.
