LAST WEEK TO ENTER OUR COMPETITION!

Entries close this Sunday (6th September) for our competition and we will be contacting the lucky winners next week.

We have lots of backpacks and water bottles up for grabs! All you need to do is fill out the Google form on our website here to be in with a chance to win: https://www.winterbourneparishcouncil.org.uk/c-n/wmt

There are also lots of fun activities aimed at primary aged children in our amazing leaflets which can also be viewed on the website or you can pop into one of these three places below to pick up a leaflet:
📍Greenfield Centre, Winterbourne: Mon to Fri 9am to 3pm
📍Frenchay Village Museum: Wed 1pm to 4pm, Saturday and Sunday 2pm to 5pm
📍Winterbourne Library: Tuesday 10am to 3pm, Wednesday 10am to 5pm, Friday 10am to 5pm, Saturday 9.30am to 12.30pm

Yesterday, we had a fantastic evening on our bat walk and talk in Frenchay with Amie Cook, a local ecologist. We were lucky enough to spot a few bats and we all learnt lots more about these fascinating creatures and what we can do to help them thrive in our urban environment.

Many thanks to Frome Valley Environmental Network and their funding (through the Stronger Together Fund) that made this event possible.
