What a brilliant way to finish our summer holiday sessions at The Ranch!

Week 6 brought another fantastic week of fun, and it was a pleasure to have Steve England -Outdoor Learning joining us - keep an eye out for the pink hat in our photos! 🎩

A big thank you also goes to our kitchen volunteer Nick and our drinks man Michael for helping to keep everyone fed and refreshed throughout the summer. 💚

The Ranch is now closed for a well-earned week off before our term-time sessions begin again. We will be back on Tuesday 8th September from 3:30pm-5:30pm.

Thank you to everyone who has helped make it such a great summer at The Ranch - we look forward to seeing you again soon! ☀️

Another action-packed week at The Ranch!

We have been making the most of the outdoors, with plenty of fun, games and activities throughout the week. 🔆

Empire Fighting Chance joined us again for another brilliant boxing session, getting everyone moving and putting their skills to the test! 🥊

And, of course, there was plenty of time to refuel, relax and enjoy being together.

We are looking forward to another great day at The Ranch! 🤹‍♀️

Since Youth Sessions moved to The Ranch just before COVID, it has been a privilege for Southmead Dev Trust to run activities for young people on Wednesday and Friday nights 🫶

Last night our Youth Worker Chloe helped the group to make brownies and this video (thanks Chloe) 💚

Last week was another great week at here The Ranch! 🔆

We had fun in the sun, shade, under water, and on the court for some outdoor boxing.

We love our Empire Fighting Chance sessions and after packing a punch there is always hungry tums to fill 🥘

We are dedicated to all kinds of fitness, health, and wellbeing at Southmead Development Trust.

If you are too - come and join us as our new Fitness Coach with a focus on inspiring young people 🫶

At both our community hubs - Greenway Centre and The Ranch Adventure Playground & Youth Space - we offer both physical and mental health support (do you agree we need both?).

Young Gym weekday sessions for ages 11-15 happen at Greenway Gym, and boxing sessions with Empire Fighting Chance run from our Boxing Zone and The Ranch 🥊

For lots of our community, The Ranch is our local happy holiday place 🫶

We hope you enjoyed last week's play sessions as much as we did.

Thank you to our music man Joe Galuszka for super sessions both in the sunshine and in the shade of our riverside learning hut.

Thanks to Benny from Life Cycle who is with us every week this summer for all things bikes, to Empire Fighting Chance for boxing sessions at every play session, and to Steve England -Outdoor Learning for wonderful nature activities🙌

is so proud to have put on another yesterday at our Greenway Centre 🙌

Young people at our children and young people's hub here at The Ranch Adventure Playground & Youth Space made cakes to sell to keep raising money for Ranch services.

Here is a message from our super Play Lead - Pirate Lil -

"We made £62.81 - thanks to everyone who donated and to the young people who made the cakes.

Thanks to our brilliant volunteers Jesse and Talib, and our Play Worker Andi, for serving.
