Todays clearing and tidying of parish lanes took us to Mangotsfield Primary school and surrounding areas. We first cut back a large branch that was encroaching onto the footpath alongside the school and then made our way to Colliers Break and the lane that links up to the back of the school which had become very overgrown.

We then went back in time to 1926, ( my phone overheated ) to cut back the overgrown bramble at Cossham Street near the football ground.

Yet another busy and humid day in the life of a community caretaker beginning with tidying up the pathway which leads from Emersons Way through to Thomas Ave. We then moved on to clearing the path which leads from Emersons Green Lane into Emersons Green Park and finally we took back the sides of the lane which leads from Blackhorse Rd leading to Stockwell Avenue.

In what was a busy and humid day, we have completed various jobs around the parish. Starting at Leap Valley we cleared some of the areas that were overgrown on the footpaths and then cut back a overgrown hedge at Pinnell Grove. We then did a clearing job on the footpath opposite Emersons Green Primary School.
