It's beautiful…

Thanks to the wonderful penmanship from Willow, we have a brand-new drinks menu above our cafe counter. Hot drinks and Wogan Coffee Roasters on one side, and our bar drinks, including Bristol Beer Factory's finest, on the other.

Have a look for yourself and visit Underfall Cafe every day from 9am. All profits are donated to support the charitable objectives of the Trust.

We have been overwhelmed by the support we have had for our Donate a Slate campaign. Since it started a few weeks ago, over 100 slates have been donated.

The slates have decorated with messages celebrating the Yard's rebuild and history, commemorations to family members, and even fun drawings from kids. These slates will be used on the roof of the Big Shed and adjoining workshops; forever being a part of our Victorian boatyard.

You have until the end of September to take part. Visit us at Underfall Cafe to purchase your slate in person, or visit our online fundraising page to send your message online for us to write.

It's time again to set sail for this year's Bristol Shanty Shout

Join Underfall Yard on the 19th and 20th of September when dozens of shanty crews and bands take to the stage. Sing along to your favourite tunes with the perfect backdrop of our Victorian-era boatyard.

Free daytime entry for all on both days, and for all of you superfans, we are hosting a ticketed concert that is sure to have you up on your feet! Last year our concert sold out, so make sure you get your tickets quickly.

Do you want to be a permanent part of Underfall Yard's history? Then why not Donate A Slate!

We are tiling the roof of the new workshops with Welsh slates - as they were originally over 100 years ago - and we are giving you the chance to sign the back of a slate with a message or to commemorate someone important.

Each slate costs £10, and will be placed on the roof of the Big Shed in a few months time.
100% of your donation goes directly to The Underfall Yard Trust to help us support maritime businesses in the local area by bringing back the buildings we lost in the 2023 fire.

With the trusses being delivered and installed onto the workshops, we are happy to announce that the construction at Underfall Yard has reached the halfway mark! We are aiming for the Big Shed and adjoining workshops to be completed by early 2027.

Discover our historic boatyard this September on our public tours!

Thank you to everyone who has previously joined us; it's been great to be able to bring back the public tours of our site for people to learn more about the maritime history of Bristol.

Our August date has completely sold out, so we have scheduled another tour for September 27th on our Yuup page. Make sure to sign up so you don't miss another chance to see the oldest dock maintenance facility still in operation!
