Remember “ Robins Memories” is Monday 15 th June this month at Ashton Gate 10 am -12 . And as we always say before the session “ these artefacts are here to be looked at, handled and photographed by the fans . It’s not an exhibition, so if it’s programmes, players worn shirts, boots ,pictures, contracts and anything else they are here to be shared with the fans “ ❤️⚽️🤍

Robins Memories will be working alongside Bristol Rovers Former Players Association at tonight’s Talk Club Cup at Ashton Gate to create a special “Bristol Derby Memories” . So come along to the concourse from 5.30 see some memorabilia and meet some legends from both clubs and talk about your favourite derby memory ❤️⚽️💙

"You were on the television. If you supported a team like Bristol City in the second division, you were rarely on the television. I would be in a playground at school, and suddenly you weren't pretending to be George Best or Dennis Law; you were Tom Ritchie or Paul Cheesley, you know what I mean?

"I can't really emphasise that enough, because it's very difficult for younger fans to understand what the game was like then. It was the big time. I always used to get the old 'Shoot' magazines, and suddenly, from '76 onwards, they were in there, our players were in there, and that never happened before, really."
