Update... Serial casting

So we managed to get to our appointment, and thankfully Raffi's feet are not as bad as feared 🙏, so fewer casts planned and looking for suitable orthotic for after.

But sadly, Raffi couldn't cope with the feeling of the casts after we returned home 🥺.

Raffi is autistic with a PDA profile, ADHD, sensory processing disorder, severe anxiety, severe OCD, ARFID and Agoraphobia.

The sensory element of the casts was unbearable for him, and ultimately this led to heavy dysregulation and removing them💔🥺.

But he tried, and that is huge. He managed to get there, and have several people in the room. And for Raffi that is incredible progress.

I'm just heartbroken he had to go through it, only for him not to be able to tolerate them.

So now we are waiting for a new plan from his team. As we need to find something he will be able to tolerate.

So for now, casts are off, a new plan is pending and back to normality.

It's been an exhausting and stressful time, for us both.

But he was all my inspiration then and he is all my inspiration now. WE WILL FIND A WAY 💪💪🥰🥰👣💛👣

Sending love and support to you all xx👣💛👣
