A lengthy, collaborative effort.

🚨SHOUT 📟 Crew were paged at 15:46 yesterday to assist Dyfed-Powys Police, HM Coastguard - Broad Haven and HM Coastguard Dale in a shoreline search for a missing person (MISPER) around Broad Haven beach. This initial search didn’t produce any results so the boat returned to station, before being tasked a second time at 20:01 to assist RNLI St Davids Lifeboat and Helo R924 from Newquay on a wider search further out to sea. After an update from the Police, the search operation was then moved inland and we were able to return to station again to be made ready for service. A great team effort all round.

SHOUT! Team were paged at 17:30 yesterday to reports of a person with a leg injury on Newgale beach. An initial casualty care assessment was carried out and the person was stretchered over the pebble ridge and handed over to be transported for further medical attention.

Another great example of how well we work with the RNLI to support those in difficulty on the coast.

SHOUT 🚨Boat launched yesterday evening to reports of a person in difficulty at the north end of Broad Haven. Casualty was quickly located and taken ashore where they were met by HM Coastguard - Broad Haven who checked if they neeeded any medical attention and offered safety advice. A successful multi agency operation.

SHOUT 🚨Team were paged at 13:35 today alongside HM Coastguard Dale to reports of a coast path walker who had sustained a leg injury near Talbenny. The casualty was located on a remote section of coastline and both teams assisted the paramedic on scene to provide casualty care and create an evacuation plan. We are very grateful to Innis and Matthew from Lower Broadmoor Farm for all their assistance which meant the casualty was transported to the ambulance in their yard safely and effectively. A successful outcome and great team effort.
