Can you help us share the books everyone wants to read this month? 📚

There’s high demand for our 10 most wanted titles, and many eager customers are waiting to borrow them. We’ve purchased as many copies as our budget allows, but if you’re able to help, we’d be truly grateful.

If you have a pristine copy, you’ve finished reading - whether it’s one you bought yourself or received as a gift - you can donate it at any library in Devon or Torbay. We’ll add it to our collection to help reduce the waiting list.

You've heard of warm spaces but what about cool spaces?!

The library is naturally cold, which might not be great in the winter but is amazing in these hot days. So if you need a a cool off, why not pop in. We've glasses of water and books and jigsaws to chill out with.

Half term is here and there is lots of fun to be had at Buckfastleigh Library!

Monday we are closed - sorry folks
Tuesday we will be visited by Author Erin Allgrove with tales of a salty old sea dog at 10.30am
Thursday we are pebble painting from 11am - 12.30pm

All week we'll be collaging our own sea dogs and running an ice cream colouring competition - results announced on Friday 29th.
