FREE Drop-In Legal Clinic With Coodes at our sister-site, Berries Community Cafe

We’re pleased to announce that the next Coodes Drop-In Clinic will take place on Tuesday, July 7th, at Berries Community Café from 10 AM to 12 PM.

Coodes will be providing free legal support to anyone who needs it. Whether you have a legal question, require advice, or need assistance, their team is on hand to help. If direct support isn’t possible, they will endeavour to refer you to the appropriate professional.

Everyone is welcome—no appointment needed.

Next, and perhaps most importantly in our line-up of 30th birthday celebration thanks, we would like to recognise the Methodist Church Hall.

A special thank you goes to Gill Beasley for playing such a key role in helping us implement our wet weather plans, and for accommodating our event, ensuring the show could go on.

Without the hall as a vital back-up space, we would have had no choice but to cancel due to the weather. We are incredibly grateful for your support in helping us carry on and make the very best of the conditions we were faced with. 💛

Next in our thank-you line-up is Community Champion Bude . Louise kindly organised a fantastic stash of top-tier sweets and chocolates for our games stalls, including a great selection of free-from treats, ensuring nobody missed out.

Next up in our round-up of 30th birthday celebration thank-yous are our hirers and community groups.

Representatives from Bude Community Larder ran their Saturday morning larder from the celebration, instead of Berries as usual. Bude Area Toy Library pulled a double shift, operating their normal hours from Neetside before popping over to the church hall to run a pre-loved toy sale.

Home Instead, the Tuesday craft group from Berries, Bude Friends of the Earth, Sandra Dumas, and The Circular Mindset (aka Cup Club Bude) also had stands, and together they all did an incredible job of showcasing what our community has to offer.

A huge thank you to our hirers and community groups for coming along to support and celebrate BSCP. We’re incredibly grateful for the time you gave. And to those who were unable to attend, you were missed! 💛

Following on from our 30th birthday celebrations last weekend, we’re continuing our thank-yous by recognising the incredible volunteers who helped us on the day.

Whether you were running café orders, making tea, serving cakes, washing up, manning the human fruit machine, entertaining the little ones, directing traffic, or simply providing a helpful hand where needed, every single one of you was vital to the day's success.

We are so grateful to each of you for generously sharing your time and talents to make our 30th birthday such a memorable occasion. Thank you for being part of such a special day!

Neetside Community Centre has 17 rooms available in a range of sizes,from cosy solo offices to larger spaces for up to 30 people.

Whether you need a room for an hour, a day, a week, or something more permanent, we offer flexible hire options to suit your needs. Our spaces can be set up for meetings, groups, workshops, therapy sessions, training, and more.

We also have a staffed reception, so we can welcome your clients, help with enquiries, and provide a friendly front-of-house service throughout the day.

Almost a week on, we're reflecting on our wonderful 30th birthday celebrations last Saturday. The weather may not have been on our side, but everyone involved and everyone who came along certainly brought the sunshine, making it a day to remember.

Over the coming days, we'll be sharing a long list of thank yous, and we'd like to start with the fantastic musicians who kept us entertained throughout the day.

A huge thank you to , , and , who brought warmth, energy and incredible music to our celebrations, helping to create a welcoming and joyful atmosphere for everyone who attended.
