We've finally started our habitat restoration work!
Our willow pollards are being restored, dead ash trees are being removed and new fencing, hedging and gates will be installed in the carpark.
We will also be dredging the carp lake and restoring the shallow lakes on the main reserve.
Six months of work is ahead of us, before we tackle the buildings, but we should be able to have some events next summer.
Daniel Meadows found a Clifden Nonpareil
(Catocala fraxini) Moth today whilst assessing our trees. Hopefully this is a good luck sign.

If you see a Mute Swan, Moorhen, Little Egret, Grey Heron or Lapwing with coloured leg rings, please make a note of the ring code, date and location. Then either message us or contact the British Trust for Ornithology to report your sighting.

We've had another Suffolk Punch foal at our Dickleburgh Moor Nature Reserve.
Dickleburgh Moor has a footpath and permissive access path, that enables free access around the perimeter of the site.

Crystal has returned to the Moor today with her c**t foal Hinsley.
Crystal's previous foals (Hope & Joy) are currently in a field on the southern side of the site. They will be reunited with Crystal and introduced to their brother next month.
