🚰 Residents have been clear: growth must be matched by investment in water and sewage infrastructure.

That's why our draft Local Plan only supports development where the necessary water, sustainable drainage and sewage infrastructure can be provided, improved or upgraded alongside growth.

The Council is continuing to put pressure on Thames Water and other infrastructure providers to invest in future capacity, while using planning powers to ensure new homes are not occupied before essential upgrades are in place where capacity issues exist.

Do you have an old bike gathering dust?

Set yourself a challenge - use this last week of the Summer holidays to get it working again, with the help of a Repair Cafe, The Broken Spoke Bike Coop or by visiting a bike repair shop.
