📖This years Summer Reading Challenge start on Saturday 4th July.

🪘This year’s theme, Read to the Beat!, celebrates the joy of music and the power it has to move, inspire, and connect us – all through the magic of reading.

🎸Every year, the Summer Reading Challenge plays a vital role in keeping children excited about books. This year’s collection is particularly special as it celebrates the universal language of music – from drumming and dancing to orchestras, opera, rap, K-pop and everything in between.

🎷Children aged up to the age of 11 can register online or at the library from 4th July. Each time they read a book or listen to a book, they can visit the library for a sticker. After collecting all six, they will receive their certificate and badge.

🎻See if you can spot Burnham Library in the video and you might even recognise some of the people in it too.
