for those of you who collect french cold war i show the ben hur trailer!
this ww2 usa made trailer seems to have survived in french army service long after they were sold off by other nations.
all the french seemed to have done is update them and fitted nato pattern wheels & tyres.
i have also taken the opportunity to add a tilt to the model so offering various options for buyers.

another 2 podiums in the heats for our sponsored junior banger driver beau jeanes last weekend at hednesford raceway in the midlands.
the final did no go to plan sadly, after getting to a good position he had a full roll back onto his wheels but had lost quite a few places in the end.

just been sent a rapid fire scenario pdf from a customer who is well into rapid fire rules and especially market garden.
we did make a few masters & models for this pdf and they have come out great in the pics.
there are also great models from andy grub & raventhorpe and the rules are available from colin rumford.
the 3.7 & 37mm a/t gun are on the webshop and the bus will be available soon.
so if you are into market garden you know where to go.

this month marks our 40th year of s&s models, i remember it well as it also marks my 40th wedding anniversary, so i should remember it😁
we would just like to say thanks to all our past & present customers for their loyal support & cash over the many years.
our very first cast model was a cromwell turret conversion for club members to make cromwells out of matchbox comets, we then progressed to a full vehicle the crusader gun tractor which again was club members sales to start with.
our very first vehicles we sent off to a mag were m8 & m20 armoured cars and we had a review in wargames illustrated back in june 86 which was favourable and produced some mail order sales & generated enough money to buy more rubber & enabling us to add more vehicles to the range, some of which we still make.
i doubt we will make 80 years as a company though.
i wonder who still has the oldest s&s models in their collection?

another gb cold war test cast.
a scammell crusader & eka recovery truck.
same cab as the scammell/leyland crusader het tractor, served with the british army from the late 70's till replaced by the foden 6x6.
used a lot by civilian recovery teams.

another raceday at northampton for the sponsored junior bangers team jeanes on saturday.
beau got a 2nd then a 1st in the heats but sadly a dnf in the final, jesse however got onto the poduim with a 3rd in the final for his first championship trophy, well done to him as the track was a muddy quagmire as you can see.

some great results recently for our sponsored junior banger drivers in team jeanes.
beau has been top 3 in most races with quite a few 1sts and is currently leading the championship, his brother jesse has now got some points and just missed out on a podium at kings lynn last weekend by just a whisker.
well done to them with a great start to the season.

went to a local show called warag yesterday on the old weston zoyland airfield.
very hot but quite a few military vehicles.
one i took pics of is this replicaa 221 a/car based on a landrover/range rover chassis, it looked the part.
