We have enjoyed exploring our very own apple tree, picking and cutting the apples and making delicious stewed apples. We also used the apples for printing and investigated floating and sinking during Nature Club.

We have been learning all about our bodies, looking closely at our features and painting some wonderful self-portraits.

Our pre-school Ed-Start sessions helped the children learn how to use their bodies in different ways and how to keep active.

Our babies also enjoyed their first trip of the year to the sensory room, with lots to see, touch and explore.

So much learning through exploring, investigating and having fun!

We had a wonderful time at our Teddy Bear’s Picnic, enjoying tea with the tiger inspired by The Tiger Who Came to Tea story.
It was a lovely way to celebrate our preschool children as they prepare for their next adventure. We are so proud of everything they have achieved and wish them the very best of luck as they move on to primary school.

We have had a wonderful week, exploring ice as part of our topic on hot and cold places, and making our own fruit ice lollies to keep us cool in the heat. We enjoyed pouring, filling and emptying tea as we sang, Polly Put the Kettle On.
