There is still time to get involved in the procession for the Summer Festival! Groups and Individuals are welcome to get involved 😊🌞

Planning is well underway for this year’s Summer Festival, Saturday July 4th, —and we’re excited to share that the walking procession is BACK! 🎉

The procession will start at Burry Port Memorial Hall and make its way through Station Road, finishing at Marina Fields.

We’d love to see as many people, groups, and organisations involved as possible to make it bigger and better than ever!

📢 Calligraphy Writer Wanted – Paid Opportunity

This is a paid opportunity for someone with experience in producing high-quality handwritten calligraphy and attention to detail.

The Town Council is happy to award a financial donation of £650 to Cetma towards organising the annual Gooseberry Fair in Pembrey for 2026. This wonderful community event is continuing the revival of the traditional fair for Pembrey on Sunday 13th of June 2026. The event is free and should be a fun family day for all.

A huge thank you to Poppies Bar and Restaurant and Joseph’s Fish & Chips for supplying delicious food for Meals on Wheels this week. Your support is truly appreciated, and the meals were enjoyed by so many in our community. 💙🍽️
