We reopen tomorrow 930-2pm.

This is the last week of build a bag.

Also any donations that are a carrier bag full and more need to be sent by a photo on messenger or email please and we will tell you what we do and don't accept.
That saves you the bother of sitting and waiting while we go through them or the frustration of you having to have to take them back with you.

Also there was a bag of donations left on the bottom of the shutter this morning- this again is lazy. You only had one more day to wait! Please come back and collect them as we are not a recycling facility.

Volunteers Needed for Lighthouse Library Bookswaps!📖

Love books and love your community? We’re looking for new volunteers to join the Lighthouse Library Bookswaps team!

We need people who can volunteer regularly and are:
- Consistent
- Reliable
- Punctual
-Good Punctual Skills.

Duties include sorting books, customer service, and shop upkeep. Regular weekly or fortnightly commitment required.

Please note: Due to limited spaces, not all applicants will be successful .
We will contact successful applicants after review.

with your name and what days you’re available and a little about you and your experience.

The shifts time will be 930-12, 930-1130, 1130-2, 12-2.

Some important dates for August:

Open tomorrow Saturday 1st August & Saturday 15th 11-1pm.

Men's Wellbeing Group Monday 3rd & 24th (instead of the 17th) 11-1pm

Paned a Sgwrs (informal Welsh chat) Wednesday 12th & 26th August 10-11am.

CLOSED 18TH,19TH & 21ST.

REOPEN 25TH AUGUST 930-2pm.

Our build a bag is until stock lasts.

We still have our 3 for £1 on children's books offer on.

Any book donations that are more than a carrier bag you need to message us in advance before bringing them in as we won't accept them due to low storage.
You can still bring in your 2 books to swap for your 2 free ones.

All books need to be in good condition with no rips, tears, pen markings on them. They will be declined as per our signs on the door, on social media and in our shop that states we can decline books at the discretion of the volunteers please accept this and not question as to why.

Also if you're bringing in more than a bagful of books please message this page beforehand with a photo of them so we can tell you what we do/ don't accept.
We're turning many books away at the shop and people are getting annoyed!
Again there's notices on here and on the shop door to tell you we will deny books!

So it's;
🫟Pick a bag
🔹Pick a ball
🫟Pick an item from top shelf.
🔹Pick an item for middle shelf.
🫟Then pick 3 books.

Items will be checked before leaving.

Nothing can be swapped once you've paid and left.
Balls cannot be replaced once paid and left.
None of the items are available to purchase individually.
No items can be mixed up or 2 items from one shelf.
