Workshops Cancelled This Week

Due to the current heatwave and the extreme weather warnings in place, we have made the difficult decision to postpone this week's workshops at The Brewhouse. Our Box Office team are currently contacting everyone who has pre-booked their tickets.

The wellbeing of our visitors, participants and staff is our priority, and we feel this is the safest course of action.

We hope you're all managing to stay cool, keeping hydrated, and taking care in the hot weather. We look forward to welcoming everyone back through our doors next week.

Just a reminder that waste collections can take place from 6:30am on your scheduled day.

With the current hot weather, crews may be starting their rounds a little earlier to help them work safely in the heat.

✅ To make sure your bin is collected, please put it out the night before your collection day.

Check the times of these afternoon closures BEFORE starting to load the car

⚠️ Temporary afternoon closures at household waste recycling centres

Due to the extreme heat this week, all Staffordshire Household Waste Recycling Centres will be closed between 1pm and 3pm, Monday 22 June to Friday 26 June.

Our site teams work outdoors all day and are required to wear protective equipment, making conditions especially challenging during peak temperatures.

These temporary closures are to protect staff safety, while helping us keep sites open as normal for the rest of the day.
✅ Sites will be open as usual in the morning and late afternoon
✅ Please plan your visit outside of the 1–3pm closure period
