What are you all up to today? 👀

Whilst our teams are out carrying out various emergency call-outs, tackling a hoarding deep clean and declutter, and helping clients across our region, our Director, Laura Hastie, is hard at work completing a specialist Biohazard training course. 📚🦠

Of course, she assures me that the photo was actually taken last night whilst meeting up and brainstorming ideas with Victoria Gordon Pocket Rockets... 🤔😂

Do we believe her? Or does it look suspiciously like she's already started studying? 📖🤣

Whatever the truth, we're always looking to improve our knowledge, qualifications and services so we can continue providing the very best support to our clients.

🚀 We're Looking for Someone Special – Ipswich Area 🚀

As Pocket Rockets East Anglia continues to grow, we're looking for the right person to join our friendly team in the Ipswich area.

This isn't your average cleaning role. Every day is different, and much of our work involves helping people through difficult circumstances. From hoarding and welfare cleans to needle sweeps, mould removal and specialist biohazard cleaning, our goal is always the same – to help make difficult environments safe, clean and dignified again.

We're a small, supportive team that genuinely enjoy working together. We work hard, have a laugh along the way, and take pride in making a difference to people's lives.

Experience in biohazard cleaning, healthcare, social care, cleaning, housing, support work or property maintenance would be an advantage, but it's certainly not essential. We're far more interested in finding someone who is compassionate, reliable, professional and willing to learn.

We're looking for someone who:
🚀 Has a full UK driving licence
🚀 Is willing to travel to different locations as required
🚀 Is compassionate, trustworthy and professional
🚀 Can work discreetly in sensitive situations
🚀 Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic

This role can involve working in challenging environments, so empathy, discretion and resilience are really important.

As we work with vulnerable individuals, sensitive situations and partner organisations, the successful applicant will be required to undergo a DBS check.

Who doesn’t love a good before-and-after photo? 👀

On Friday, we helped a landlord whose tenant had left a bathroom in a very poor condition. As you can see, both the toilet and bath were heavily contaminated and no longer able to be used.

Our team attended the property, carried out a thorough deep clean and sanitisation process, and restored the bathroom to a clean, safe and hygienic condition.

At Pocket Rockets East Anglia, we understand that situations like this can be overwhelming for landlords and property managers. We’re here to help get properties back to a safe, usable standard quickly, professionally and without judgement.

As many of you know, I’m a member of BNI, and the brilliant West recently created some AI-generated posters for all the members of the group.

Well… I couldn’t resist having a play on ChatGPT last night and ended up creating some wonderfully wacky and fun versions for Pocket Rockets! 🚀😂

Not sure we’ll actually use them for our official socials… but it was definitely fun experimenting and seeing what AI can come up with.

Pocket Rockets East Anglia has expanded again! 🚀

Following our recent growth across Cambridgeshire, Suffolk and Norfolk, we are proud to announce that we have purchased the Essex & East London territory.

Our goal is simple — to mirror the compassionate, professional and trauma-informed service we have built in East Anglia and bring that same level of care and support to even more people and communities.
