Caldicot Town Council is delighted to share that new plants have today been added to several of the town centre planters, bringing fresh colour and vibrancy to our Town Centre.

These plants have been purchased by Caldicot Town Council, planted by Caldicot Town Councillors with the permission of Monmouthshire County Council, and volunteers and will be watered daily by our Facilities Officer.

This is just the beginning — more planting work will be taking place over the coming weeks, so keep an eye out for even more plants appearing around the town centre soon.

These improvements are part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing the look and feel of Caldicot for residents, visitors, and local businesses alike.

Please help us keep them looking their best by treating them with care and respect.

We hope everyone enjoys the new plants.

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Councillor Wyndham Conniff on Sunday 15th February.

Wyndham served the Council and the community of Caldicot for many years with kindness, dedication and quiet commitment. Beyond his role as a Councillor, he gave much of his time to the church and to supporting young people. Wyndam was passionate about the environment and cared deeply about making a positive change.

As a mark of respect, the Council has lowered the flag outside the Town Council Offices in his memory.

Our thoughts and sincere condolences are with his wife Wendy, his daughters Sue and Sharon and all of his family and friends at this difficult time.

Wyndham will be fondly remembered and greatly missed.
