This is to highlight that many of these road drains (also known as gullies) often drain untreated directly into natural water courses, such as a stream or river, and not into a sewer, therefor nothing other than the rain water should be put down them, and especially not things such as Engine Oil, or other liquid waste such as car washing water, coffee, tea etc....

If the Environment Agency is giving a Cow a High Tier Waste Carriers licence, how sure are we they are fit to deal with the Calne Smell?

The situation has raised fresh concerns over fly-tipping in rural areas.

I’m back in the news again. I haven’t changed my mind. The landfill needs to be capped off and closed down, the Recycling Center, Quarry and Materials Recovery Facility should stay, but the land fill must close.

More people complained in one week in March than the whole of last year.

Oohh sequence to 4 way lights, rather than 4 roads but 2 way sequencing which they currently are.

I can see that as adding to delays on London Road and an increase in using Anchor Road, Brewers Lane and Shelbourne roads as a rat run!!!!

Can our Calne Town Council and Our Wiltshire (Wiltshire) councillors confirm what the sequencing will be? Cllr Bobby Seymour Ian Thorn
